This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring. The pump is constructed with a stainless steel shaft, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The design incorporates a dry shaft feature to prevent circulating fluid from contacting the shaft.
The pump operates at 2900 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a 184 T frame enclosure. It is configured for a 415V, 50Hz, 3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. This unit meets NEMA standards and MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements for operation in a 40 °C ambient environment. The assembly is mounted on a welded steel base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard.
