This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 1-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing and a 6-1/4" nominal diameter stainless steel impeller, which is supplemented by a bronze wear ring. The design uses a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve to prevent fluid contact. A mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber handles temperatures up to 250°F. The bearing frame houses sealed-for-life ball bearings.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 1 HP, TEFC, NEMA 143 T-frame Baldor motor. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply using across-the-line starting. The pump is secured to a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard protecting the Woods coupler. Additional features include AEGIS shaft grounding and a premium efficiency rating in compliance with MG1-12.55 standards. The equipment maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.91.
