This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge connections using ANSI Class 125 flanges without a wear ring. The pump includes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at 250 °F. The unit employs a dry shaft design, flush seal line taps, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
This pump is powered by a 20 HP Baldor TEFC motor configured with a 256 JM frame with feet. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power supply with an across the line starting option. The motor is NEMA standard and designed for a 40 °C ambient environment with CCW rotation. It meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump has a DOE PEI value of 0.89.
