This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing that includes a bronze wear ring. The pump is constructed with a stainless steel shaft, a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal consisting of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for 250 °F. This configuration is suitable for clean water applications and incorporates a dry shaft design.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 50 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 326T frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and across-the-line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and includes a Woods coupler with an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The motor features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. This unit has a DOE PEI of 0.92 and utilizes greasable bearings within the bearing frame.
