This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction port and a 4" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The construction includes a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with an 11" nominal diameter, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design with an easy-to-replace, slip-on sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design and top center line discharge configuration facilitate maintenance and piping installation.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and uses a 30 HP Baldor motor. The motor is configured with a TEFC enclosure, a 286 JM frame style with feet, and AEGIS shaft grounding. The power supply is 230-460/60/3 PH. The motor operates at a 40°C ambient temperature under NEMA standards with CCW rotation. This pump meets Premium Efficiency standards and carries a PEI value of 0.97. The unit is configured with an across-the-line starting option and does not include a drip cover.
