This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features 6" suction and 5" discharge connections with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to protect the pump shaft from the system fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing system piping, while the top centerline discharge configuration provides self-venting. The pump includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on both the suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 10 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It uses a JM motor frame style with feet and is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply with across-the-line starting. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and features AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature.
