This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 3" suction and 2-1/2" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable stainless steel shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The casing includes a bronze wear ring and integrated gauge ports for system monitoring. The pump design incorporates a dry shaft construction and greasable bearings within the bearing frame.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 1-1/2 HP Baldor TEFC motor, frame size 145 T-frame. It utilizes 230-460/60/3 power and an across-the-line starting configuration. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base equipped with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods coupling connects the pump to the motor. This unit has a DOE PEI rating of 0.87.
