This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 4" suction and 3" discharge connections. It uses an 11" diameter bronze impeller, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a stainless steel shaft. The assembly includes a bronze wear ring and ANSI Class 125 flanges. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The unit utilizes a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM with a 20 HP Baldor premium efficiency motor in a NEMA 256 T-frame. The motor has an ODP enclosure and operates on 230-460V/60/3PH. The unit is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. A Woods coupler connects the pump to the greasable bearing frame. This configuration is rated for a 40°C ambient environment and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. It meets MG1-12.55 standards and has a PEI value of 0.92.
