This base-mounted end suction pump is constructed with a class 30 cast iron casing and integrally cast mounting feet. It utilizes a bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. This dry shaft design prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The hydraulic section integrates a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat and EPT rubber, supporting a maximum operating pressure of 125 PSI. Dynamically balanced to ANSI Grade G6.3, the impeller attaches to the shaft with a key.
The 25 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operates at 1750 RPM, incorporates Aegis grounding, and accepts 380-460V / 3PH power, achieving a DOE PEI rating of 0.46. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
