This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection. The unit uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. It includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design, flush seal line taps for particle filtration, and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration assists in system venting.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured with a 145 JM motor frame with feet and utilizes across the line starting. Electrical requirements are 230-460V/60Hz/3PH. The motor complies with NEMA standards and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency ratings. The unit features AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature. This assembly has a DOE PEI value of 0.78.
