This base-mounted end suction pump utilizes a class 30 cast iron casing and a bronze impeller to handle hydraulic flow. The assembly incorporates a dry shaft design that prevents circulating fluid from contacting the stainless steel shaft, which is protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. A ceramic mechanical seal with EPT rubber accommodates operation up to 250°F. The casing pressure rating reaches 125 PSI and integrates a wear ring to maintain performance.
The motor provides 60 HP of premium efficiency power within a TEFC enclosure, operating at 1750 RPM with Aegis grounding and a 380-460V / 3PH power supply, yielding a DOE PEI of 0.46. The S in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
