This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The assembly includes a stainless steel shaft sleeve and a bronze wear ring. The pump incorporates a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. A dry shaft design isolates the shaft from the circulating fluid, and flush seal line taps accommodate an optional filter. The rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing the piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
This pump is powered by a 30 HP WEG motor with a TEFC enclosure, configured for 380/60/3 power. It operates at 1750 RPM using an across-the-line starting method. The motor uses a 286 JM frame style with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is rated for 40°C ambient temperature and a maximum fluid temperature of 250°F. The motor complies with NEMA standards and meets premium efficiency requirements under MG1-12.55. This equipment has a DOE PEI rating of 0.92.
