This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and an 11" nominal diameter bronze impeller. The design uses a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft configuration that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. A mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber is included, allowing for operation at fluid temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump is equipped with pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, as well as flush seal line taps.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 10 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. It is configured for 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power with an across the line starting option. The motor utilizes a 215 JM frame with feet and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. This unit features AEGIS shaft grounding and has a DOE PEI of 0.86. The rear pullout design allows for maintenance without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
