This base-mounted end suction pump incorporates a cast iron casing and a stainless steel impeller. Engineered with a dry shaft design, the assembly prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the stainless steel shaft. A bronze shaft sleeve protects the shaft components, while a ceramic and EPT mechanical seal regulates fluid containment. This pump maintains a 125 PSI pressure rating. Integral gauge ports are provided at the suction and discharge connections to monitor system performance.
The 75 HP premium efficiency motor operates within a TEFC enclosure at 1750 RPM, utilizes Aegis grounding, and accepts a 380-460V / 3PH power supply, yielding a DOE PEI rating of 0.46. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
