This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, a bronze shaft sleeve, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit incorporates a rear pullout design and a top center line discharge. A dry shaft design prevents contact between the shaft and circulating fluid. Flush seal line taps are provided for filter installation, and pressure tappings are located on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP Baldor TEFC motor with an included drip cover. This motor is configured in a JM style frame with feet and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The power configuration is 230-460/60/3PH, with an ambient rating of 40 °C. The starting option is across the line, and the unit complies with NEMA standards. The pump has a DOE PEI rating of 0.78.
