This base-mounted end suction pump comprises a cast iron casing with a bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft. It incorporates a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that eliminates contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly utilizes a ceramic seat and EPT rubber. This pump operates at a pressure rating of 125 PSI without a wear ring. The assembly connects to system piping while allowing for maintenance without disturbing existing connections.
The motor is a 7.5 HP premium efficiency TEFC model operating at 1750 RPM, utilizing Aegis grounding with a 380-460V / 3PH power supply, resulting in a DOE PEI rating of 0.46. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. Parallel pumping and multi pump control are integrated into the drive logic. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
