This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 2-1/2" suction and 2" discharge ports equipped with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The assembly incorporates a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F. The pump casing is configured with pressure tappings on both suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
The pump is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor in a 213T NEMA frame with an ODP enclosure, operating at 1750 RPM on a 200V/60Hz/3PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. This configuration includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring, greasable bearings, and a standard Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant guard. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.86. The unit is configured for across the line starting and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment.
