This base-mounted end suction pump comprises a cast iron casing with integrally cast mounting feet and a bronze impeller. The assembly integrates a stainless steel shaft protected by a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, utilizing a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. A ceramic and EPT mechanical seal provides fluid containment, while the internal structure accommodates operating pressures up to 125 PSI. A bronze wear ring guards internal components, and the unit incorporates gauge ports at the suction and discharge connections to monitor hydraulic performance.
The 10 HP premium efficiency TEFC motor operates at 1750 RPM, utilizes Aegis grounding, and receives power via 380-460V / 3PH input, resulting in a DOE PEI of 0.45. The "S" in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 1 / IP 21 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
