This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. It uses a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design to isolate the pump shaft from circulating fluids. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge configuration supports self-venting.
This pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor motor. It is configured with an ODP enclosure, a drip cover, and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor frame is 286 JM with feet, utilizing an across the line starting option. Electrical specifications are 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH. The unit operates at a 40°C ambient temperature and meets NEMA standards. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency requirements, and the pump has a PEI of 0.89.
