This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of stainless steel. The unit includes a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a tungsten carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for operation in clean water temperatures up to 300 °F. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, as well as flush seal line taps.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 25 HP TEFC Baldor motor in a NEMA 284 T frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and an OSHA featuring a Woods coupler. The motor meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump maintains a DOE PEI of 0.94.
