This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter. The pump casing is constructed of cast iron, and the assembly includes a bronze impeller, a bronze wear ring, and a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump design incorporates a dry shaft to prevent contact with circulating fluids, flush seal line taps for filter installation, and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout configuration allows for servicing without disturbing system piping.
The pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and drip cover. The motor is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. It utilizes a 254 JM motor frame style with feet and is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes an AEGIS shaft grounding ring.
