This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges, a 4" suction, and a 3" discharge. It utilizes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft protected by a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump is equipped with a bronze wear ring and a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The internal construction includes a dry shaft design and gauge ports on both the suction and discharge connections for system monitoring.
The unit operates at 1150 RPM and is driven by a 2 HP Baldor motor in an ODP enclosure. It is configured for 230-460V/60/3PH power and includes AEGIS shaft grounding to meet premium efficiency standards. The motor is housed in a NEMA 184T frame and is rated for 40°C ambient conditions with counter-clockwise rotation. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that incorporates a drip pan, a Woods flexible coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The bearing frame utilizes greasable bearings.
