This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and a 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze and is housed within a cast iron casing. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal features a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting operation at temperatures up to 250 °F. Integrated pressure tappings are provided on both suction and discharge connections, and the bearing frame contains permanently lubricated, sealed-for-life ball bearings.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor Super E premium efficiency motor in NEMA frame 286. The motor features an ODP enclosure, AEGIS shaft grounding, and a power requirement of 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz with across the line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded structural steel base that includes an integral drip pan and a Woods coupler enclosed by a coupler guard. This equipment meets EISA compliance standards and has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
