This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit utilizes a 10" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. It includes a bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly provides flush seal line taps and integrated pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing system piping, and the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
This pump is configured with a 7-1/2 HP WEG motor in a TEFC enclosure, operating at 1750 RPM. It uses a 230-460V, 3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor is mounted in a JM frame style with feet and operates in a 40°C ambient environment with CCW rotation. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards. This configuration maintains a pump efficiency index (PEI) of 0.94.
