This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design with a bronze shaft sleeve to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit includes flush seal line taps for particle filtration and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. The rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies piping layouts.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a drip cover. The motor is configured with a 324 JM frame with feet and a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The starting configuration is across the line, and the unit supports a 40 °C ambient temperature. This pump maintains a DOE PEI of 0.92.
