This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and 6" discharge with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The assembly includes a cast iron casing with a bronze wear ring and a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller. It is configured with a stainless steel shaft, a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal composed of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The seal is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump uses a dry shaft design and includes pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 125 HP WEG TEFC motor in a 444 T-frame enclosure. It is configured for a 380V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply with an across-the-line starting option. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes an AEGIS SGR and an insulated bearing on the non-drive end. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. This model has a DOE PEI value of 0.93 and supports a 50°C ambient temperature rating with CCW rotation.
