This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction port and a 2-1/2" discharge port with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a 13-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a cast iron casing. It is configured with a stainless steel shaft, a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve, and a mechanical seal consisting of a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The internal construction utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The pump is rated for clean water applications with a maximum operating temperature of 250°F and does not include a wear ring.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 25 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. This motor is mounted on a NEMA 284T frame and operates on a 230-460/60/3 power supply using an across the line starting option. The unit features AEGIS shaft grounding and meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The pump is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA. It is rated for a 40°C ambient temperature and maintains a PEI of 0.89.
