This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 6" suction and 5" discharge ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal is constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The assembly includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design allows for servicing without disturbing the system piping, while the top center line discharge configuration aids in piping alignment.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP WEG motor. It is configured with an ODP enclosure and a 324 JM frame with feet. The electrical input is 230-460V, 3PH, 60Hz, using an across-the-line starting method. The motor meets NEMA premium efficiency standards as defined in MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The unit is rated for 40°C ambient temperature and is set to CCW rotation. The DOE PEI for this pump is 0.95.
