This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a center-line discharge and ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The pump incorporates a dry shaft design and is equipped with a mechanical seal featuring a silicon-carbide seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, suitable for clean water temperatures up to 250°F. A bronze wear ring is included to maintain hydraulic performance. The bearing frame houses sealed-for-life bearings, and the unit features flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump is powered by a 15 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure, NEMA 254 T-frame, and operates at 1750 RPM. The motor is configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply with an across-the-line starting option and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan, a Woods coupler, and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The pump includes AEGIS shaft grounding and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment. It has a DOE pump efficiency index (PEI) of 0.93.
