This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with a 2" suction port and a 1-1/4" discharge port. The pump uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents contact between the shaft and the system fluid. The unit includes a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. The pump design incorporates ANSI Class 125 flanges, flush seal line taps, pressure tappings, and a rear pullout configuration for maintenance. The discharge is positioned at the top center line to assist with self-venting and piping alignment.
The pump is powered by a 1-1/2 HP WEG motor with a TEFC enclosure, configured for a 380V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. It operates at a nominal speed of 1750 RPM. The motor is housed in a 145 JM frame style with feet for mounting. The assembly meets NEMA standards and complies with premium efficiency requirements defined in MG1-12.55. The pump includes an across-the-line starting option and has a PEI of 0.78 according to DOE standards.
