This Taco CI Series close coupled end suction pump features a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges, a 2" suction port, and a 1-1/4" discharge port. The internal assembly includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The pump utilizes a dry shaft design to isolate the shaft from the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting fluid temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout design permits servicing of the internal components without disturbing the system piping.
The pump is configured with a 7-1/2 HP WEG TEFC motor operating at 3450 RPM. It uses a 213 JM frame style with feet and operates on a 230-460/60/3 power supply. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The starting method is across the line, and the unit maintains a PEI value of 0.83. The assembly features a top center line discharge to simplify piping layouts and reduce strain on the system.
