This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features an 8" suction and a 6" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. It uses a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve in a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation up to 250°F. The casing includes pressure tappings for suction and discharge connections and provides center-line discharge for air venting.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 30 HP Baldor premium efficiency motor in an ODP enclosure with AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor is a NEMA T-frame 286 style configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, utilizing a Woods coupler to connect the pump to the motor. This equipment meets MG1-12.55 standards and has a DOE PEI value of 0.94.
