This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction connection and a 5" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing and a bronze impeller with a 13-1/2" nominal diameter. It uses a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are provided on the suction and discharge connections, and the casing does not include a wear ring.
This unit operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 50 HP Baldor TEFC motor. The motor is NEMA 326 frame style and configured for a 230-460/60/3 power supply. It meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integral drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This configuration has a DOE PEI of 0.93 and utilizes across the line starting.
