This close-coupled end suction pump utilizes a cast iron casing housing a bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The dry shaft design prevents contact between the circulating fluid and the shaft, mitigating corrosion risks. This assembly incorporates a mechanical seal constructed with a ceramic seat half and EPT rubber. Suction and discharge connections include pressure tappings to allow for system monitoring. The pump maintains a pressure rating of 125 PSI. An easy-to-replace, slip-on shaft sleeve facilitates seal maintenance, while flush seal line taps allow for the installation of a filter to protect the seal from non-condensable particles in open systems.
The 3 HP, Premium Efficiency, TEFC, 1750 RPM motor includes Aegis Grounding and operates on 200-230V / 3PH power. The 'S' in the SCI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
