This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 5" suction and a 4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 250 flanges. The casing is constructed of cast iron and includes a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly is composed of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and is rated for fluid temperatures up to 250 °F. The pump design includes a dry shaft configuration that isolates the shaft from the circulating fluid.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 20 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a NEMA 256 T frame. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 with across the line starting. The unit is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, utilizing a Woods coupler. This assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, with a DOE PEI rating of 0.93.
