This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 1-1/2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump construction includes a cast iron casing, an 11-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, a stainless steel shaft, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a mechanical seal with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates a dry shaft design to prevent the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft and includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections.
This pump operates at 1150 RPM and is powered by a 3 HP Baldor TEFC motor in a NEMA 213 T-frame. The electrical configuration supports a 230-460V/60Hz/3PH power supply with across-the-line starting and AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55 and operates in a 40°C ambient environment with CCW rotation. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a standard coupler guard, utilizing a Woods coupler to connect the pump to the motor.
