This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge. The unit has a 13-1/2" nominal impeller diameter and is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller, and a bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design that prevents the shaft from contacting the circulating fluid. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it operates at temperatures up to 250°F. This pump includes ANSI Class 125 flanges without a wear ring. A rear pullout design allows for service without disturbing the system piping, while the top center line discharge simplifies layout and enables self-venting. Flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on suction and discharge connections are also provided.
This pump is configured with a 20 HP Baldor motor and operates at 1750 RPM. It utilizes an ODP enclosure and is built on a 256JM motor frame with feet. The unit is rated for a 230-460/60/3 power supply and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The motor meets Premium Efficiency standards and NEMA standards for 40°C ambient temperatures. It features across the line starting and operates in a CCW rotation. The unit has a PEI value of 0.89.
