This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It utilizes an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. The unit uses a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve, incorporating a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. Pressure tappings are located on the suction and discharge connections for monitoring.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 40 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure. The electrical configuration is 230-460/60/3 PH, utilizing a NEMA 324 T frame. The motor meets MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a standard Woods coupler protected by a guard. The bearing frame utilizes greasable bearings, and the unit has a DOE PEI of 0.94.
