This centrifugal end suction pump comprises a cast iron casing with integrally cast mounting feet and a bronze impeller. It integrates a dry shaft design with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve to prevent contact between the pump shaft and circulating fluid. A ceramic and EPT mechanical seal handles pressures up to 125 PSI. The unit permits service without disturbing system piping and includes pressure tappings at both the suction and discharge connections.
The assembly is powered by a 2 HP Premium Efficiency TEFC 1750 RPM motor that incorporates Aegis Grounding and operates on 380-460V / 3PH power, achieving a DOE PEI rating of 0.44. The "S" in the SFI series denotes Taco's advanced Self-Sensing technology, which eliminates remote sensors and field wiring by using internal mathematical algorithms to calculate system resistance and automate variable flow. The included VFD is configured with a fused disconnect without bypass and holds an enclosure NEMA 12 / IP 55 rating. The drive ships unmounted for customer wall installation without a bracket, harness, or vibration mounts.
