This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction connection and a 3" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit includes a 9-1/2" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design that prevents the circulating fluid from contacting the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump assembly provides pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections and supports a flush seal line.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM using a 15 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure and a 254T NEMA frame. Power requirements are 200V, 60Hz, 3PH. The assembly is configured with a welded steel base, an integrated drip pan, and a Woods coupler protected by a guard. The motor meets premium efficiency standards per NEMA MG1-12.55 and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The bearing frame utilizes greasable bearings, and the system is configured for across the line starting. This equipment is rated with a PEI value of 0.91 and operates in a 40°C ambient environment with counter-clockwise rotation.
