This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction and a 1-1/4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The assembly includes a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze wear ring housed within a cast iron casing. The unit utilizes a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. It is configured with a mechanical seal consisting of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, which is rated for operation up to 250 °F.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is driven by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor premium efficiency motor in an ODP enclosure. The motor is a NEMA T frame, size 184, configured for a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply. The assembly utilizes greasable bearings and is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and a standard Woods coupler protected by a guard. The system includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA MG1-12.55 standards with a DOE PEI value of 0.85. The pump is configured for across the line starting.
