This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction connection and a 2" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The unit is constructed with a stainless steel shaft and a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve in a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, supporting a maximum temperature of 250 °F.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 2 HP Baldor Super E motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for 230/460V, 3PH, 60Hz power with an Across the Line starting option. The motor utilizes a 145 frame and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is installed on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and includes a Woods coupler with a guard. This equipment is rated for 40 °C ambient operation and is EISA compliant with a DOE PEI of 0.88 and an HI Energy Rating of 12.
