This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 6" suction and 5" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It is constructed with a cast iron casing, a 7-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller, and a bronze wear ring. The unit utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve in a dry shaft configuration. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump casing includes integrally cast mounting feet and is drilled and tapped for gauge ports at the suction and discharge connections.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 10 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 215 T-frame. It is configured for a 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power supply and meets NEMA Premium Efficiency standards per MG1-12.55. The assembly includes AEGIS shaft grounding and a Woods coupler protected by an OSHA-compliant coupler guard. The unit is mounted on a welded structural steel base with an integral drip pan. This pump is rated for 40°C ambient conditions, configured for counter-clockwise rotation, and maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.96.
