This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2-1/2" suction and a 2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The unit consists of a cast iron casing with a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller and an integrated bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a bronze shaft sleeve to facilitate a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal assembly features a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. The pump casing includes pressure tappings for suction and discharge connections, as well as flush seal line taps.
This pump operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor. It is configured with a NEMA 213 T-frame ODP motor enclosure and operates on 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across-the-line starting. The motor is a premium efficiency model meeting MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with a drip pan and utilizes a Woods coupler with a standard coupler guard. This model maintains a PEI value of 0.86.
