This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes an 11" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft and shaft sleeve, configured with a mechanical seal comprising a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber. This seal assembly is rated for fluid temperatures up to 250°F. The unit incorporates an AEGIS shaft grounding system to mitigate electrical discharge through the bearings.
The pump operates at 1750 RPM and is driven by a 10 HP Baldor motor with a TEFC enclosure. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3 PH power supply and utilizes a NEMA 215 T frame. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integrated drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard covering a standard Woods coupler. The bearing frame features greasable bearings. This model meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI of 0.87.
