This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 1-1/2" suction and 1-1/4" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 9-1/2" nominal diameter bronze impeller housed within a cast iron casing. The pump incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a silicon-carbide seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for operation at temperatures up to 250°F in clean water applications. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections to facilitate system monitoring.
The unit is configured with a 2 HP Baldor ODP motor in a 145 T frame, operating at 1750 RPM on 200V, 60Hz, 3PH power. It utilizes an across the line starting option and is rated for a 40°C ambient environment. The motor meets NEMA Premium Efficiency MG1-12.55 standards and includes AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan and uses a Woods coupler protected by a standard guard. This equipment has a DOE PEI rating of 0.86.
