This Taco CI Series close-coupled end suction pump features a 3" suction and a 2-1/2" discharge. The unit includes a cast iron casing with ANSI Class 125 flanges and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a 6-1/4" nominal diameter bronze impeller and a bronze shaft sleeve. The mechanical seal assembly consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, with a temperature rating of 250 °F. The pump uses a dry shaft design and includes flush seal line taps and pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections. A rear pullout configuration allows for servicing without disturbing the piping, and the top center line discharge design assists with venting.
This unit is powered by a 1-1/2 HP Baldor motor with an ODP enclosure, a drip cover, and AEGIS shaft grounding. It operates at 1750 RPM on a 230-460/60/3 power supply. The motor is configured in a NEMA 145 JM frame style with feet and supports across the line starting. It is rated for a 40 °C ambient temperature. The assembly meets NEMA MG1-12.55 premium efficiency standards and has a DOE PEI of 0.85.
