This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 4" suction and a 3" discharge with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump is constructed with a cast iron casing, a bronze impeller with a 7-1/4" nominal diameter, and a bronze wear ring. It utilizes a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250 °F. The unit includes pressure tappings on the suction and discharge connections, as well as flush seal line taps for maintenance.
The assembly operates at 1750 RPM and is powered by a 5 HP Baldor ODP motor in a NEMA 184T frame. It is configured for a 230-460/60/3PH power supply and features premium efficiency performance that meets MG1-12.55 standards with AEGIS shaft grounding. The pump is mounted on a welded base that includes a drip pan and is connected to the motor using a Woods coupler protected by a standard coupler guard. This pump maintains a DOE PEI value of 0.91. The motor uses across the line starting and is rated for a 40 °C ambient environment.
