This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a 2" suction connection and a 1-1/4" discharge connection with ANSI Class 125 flanges. It uses a 6-1/4" nominal impeller diameter constructed of bronze, housed within a cast iron casing. The unit incorporates a stainless steel shaft with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve and a dry shaft design. The mechanical seal is configured with a ceramic seat, a carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, and it is rated for a maximum temperature of 250 °F. This model is manufactured without a wear ring.
The pump operates at 3450 RPM and is powered by a 7-1/2 HP Baldor motor in a NEMA 213 T-frame. The TEFC motor is configured for 230-460V, 60Hz, 3PH power with across the line starting. It features greasable bearings, AEGIS shaft grounding, and a 40 °C ambient temperature rating. The assembly is mounted on a welded base that includes an integral drip pan and an OSHA-compliant coupler guard, utilizing a Woods coupler for connection. This equipment meets NEMA premium efficiency standards MG1-12.55 and has a DOE PEI of 0.94.
