This Taco FI Series base-mounted end suction pump features a cast iron casing with 4" suction and 3" discharge ports, configured with ANSI Class 125 flanges. The pump includes a 9-1/2" diameter bronze impeller and a stainless steel shaft equipped with a replaceable bronze shaft sleeve. It utilizes a dry shaft design to prevent fluid contact with the shaft. The mechanical seal consists of a ceramic seat, carbon rotor, and EPT rubber, rated for temperatures up to 250°F. Pressure tappings are provided on both the suction and discharge connections.
The pump is driven by a 5 HP, 1750 RPM WEG motor in a 184T NEMA frame with a TEFC enclosure. It operates on a 230-460/60/3 power supply and uses across-the-line starting. The assembly is mounted on a welded base with an integrated drip pan, a standard coupler guard, and a Woods coupler. This unit includes AEGIS shaft grounding and meets NEMA premium efficiency standards per MG1-12.55, with a DOE PEI of 0.91. The motor is rated for 40°C ambient temperatures.
